We specialize in developing and executing documented inspections and tests for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Biofuel Production
Advanced biofuels such as conversion of cellulose to fuel and algae fuel may very well provide significant energy resources. Biofuels require processes and equipment that meet tight and sometimes complex user requirements. CAI is an industry expert in Bio Reactor process engineering, equipment verification and control system validation for the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industries. Our biological process leadership in the key areas of risk assessment, design review, startup and commissioning will aid in the successful development of new biofuel technology.
Carbon Capture Technology
Between recent EPA ruling and the world environment movement, it is apparent that CO2 (carbon) capture will soon be a reality in US fossil fuel power plants. CAI understands the use of post combustion capture using scrubbers and other CO2 capture techniques, as well as steam plants and their operation providing a foundation for success in the start-up and commissioning of carbon capture technology.
